Don Hansen, Minister of Music
|
Don has served in various combinations of Music, Youth, Education and Missions Ministry over the past 23 years serving churches in Oklahoma, Texas and South Carolina. He has led mission trips to eight states and three continents. He has served on the Executive Board of United Ministries of Sumter County, served as Music Director of the Santee Baptist Association, directed choirs for area-wide crusades, festivals and worship services, and taught guitar and theory classes for South Carolina Baptist Convention Summer Music Camps.
Don is married to the former Deborah Kay Green of New Orleans, LA. Don and Debbie have two teenage sons, Joshua and Jared. Don received his Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in voice from Oklahoma Baptist University and his Master of Arts in Religious Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Don enjoys family time, just about any sport involving a ball or a car, watching movies, traveling, yard work, reading, playing the guitar and musical theatre.
