BEREAVEMENT Ministry – to prepare and deliver meals to bereaved families

COMPTON MISSIONARY HOME – to provide housing for Southern Baptist missionaries on stateside assignment

F.A.I.T.H. OUTREACH–equipping believers to share their Faith in a simple, non-threatening way; making evangelistic and ministry visits to

G.R.O.W. INREACH - providing in-reach to church members by sending cards, making phone calls, visiting shut-ins and members in the hospital prospects and members

HURRICANE MINISTRY – to provide hurricane evacuation assistance to the elderly, ill, disabled or helpless

SHUT-IN MINISTRY – visiting the sick and homebound

WOMEN’S MISSIONARY UNION – for women of all ages.

Local & National

ASSOCIATED CHARITIES – to provide clothing, shoes household items, fuel oil and holiday assistance to the needy

BETHANY CHRISTIAN SERVICES – a national and international adoption and family services agency who needs volunteers in many areas

CAMPGROUND MINISTRY – to greet and minister to campers as they attend services

CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP – to bring the Word of Christ to children in elementary schools through Bible lessons, memory verses, games and prayer

COMMUNITY KITCHEN – to feed and witness to the homeless

HURRICANE DISASTER RELIEF – in the Gulf Coast area through Intracoastal Outreach

IGREJA BATISTA BRASILEIRA (Ministry to Brazilians) – to make Brazilian disciples of Jesus Christ in our area

MOBILE MEALS – to deliver a noon meal to the ill and disabled

PRISON EVANGELISM OUTREACH – correspondence Bible study for prisoners in state and federal prisons

SWASH PARK MINISTRY – to feed, minister to and witness to the homeless

STREETREACH – to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless

WACCAMAW BAPTIST ASSOCIATION – exists to strengthen local Southern Baptist churches as we cooperate together to do evangelism and missions

In the World

CHINA – to teach English language to Chinese students

INDIA – to provide medical care as well as spiritual teaching to both adults and children

MOROCCO – to prayer-walk through towns and neighborhoods and to encourage the missionaries

 

 

 

 

MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES

To teach each age group about Southern Baptist Missions, both at home and abroad, to support our missionaries through prayer and giving, and to participate in missions through various projects.

   For Children  

FAITH WEAVER FRIENDS- preschoolers, age 4-Kindergarten, to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus and learn to serve others.

GIRLS IN ACTION (GAs) – for girls, grades 1-6

ROYAL AMASSADORS (RAs) – for boys, grades 1-6
